Bagaimana jika Tuhan adalah salah seorang di antara kita?

Kira-kira begitulah yang ingin disampaikan oleh Joan Osborne lewat lagunya One of Us. Lagu ini cukup familiar di telinga saya dan sering diputar di radio. Namun sayangnya saya tidak pernah tahu judul lagunya sampai pada hari ini saat di kelas bahasa Inggris, Mr.Amir memutarkan lagu ini sebagai latihan listening. Sejenak lirik lagunya memiliki tema yang serupa seperti lagu yang ditulis Ahmad Dhani yang dinyanyikannya bersama Chrisye "Jika Surga Dan Neraka Tak Pernah Ada". Lirik-lirik di kedua lagu ini ingin menyentil kita untuk mencintai Tuhan sebenar-benarnya. Apakah kita benar-benar mencintai Tuhan sebagaimana adanya Dia? ataukah kita hanya mengejar kehidupan kekal yang dijanji-Nya nanti?
